Skinny Models, BANNED!

Most Designers only want size zero models. But why?!
They apparently act as the hanger, so garments show a straight up and down figure. But, there’s more to this...

Skinny models can influence eating disorders, the images people see in the media influences people to follow suit.
These tend not to be natural or realistic, in my opinion we NEED bigger models on the catwalk , sizes 10, 12, and 14. These size women are still beautiful and can convey the clothes in the same way,in my opinion it would promote a healthier image.

The image above, in my opinion, promotes a healthier look as the models are in proportion.
A newspaper article read; that most designers disagree with using larger models, because they think the larger the model, the bigger the breasts and hips. In turn they feel this will upset the dress line.
In my opinion, size doesn't matter, it's the overall look of the individual. A person could be a size 18, 6ft and look slim.
The fashion industry, as all other industries want to make money, the protection of the models and there health isn't their number one priority it's the clothing sales...

Asda uses a more inspirational approach. Business women, Coleen Mcloughlin models for 'George.' She's a size 12 and always looks healthy.
The average model to succeed in the world of the catwalk is, 5ft 9in, 7st 12lb and a BMI of 16.
A healthy BMI in a young women in 18.5 - 25, any less means you are underweight.

Whats your opinion? Attractive or unattractive? Healthy or unhealthy?
